On the 24-th of August 2009 in the centre of Kiev near Independence Square will be open the clock from the flowers.
The diameter of the clock will be 19-19,5 metres and it will be about 50 thousands flowers inside.
25 thousands is going to be as a panel and the rest 25 thousands as a clock.
To install such a clock the landscape service used 400 tonnes of the ground.
The design made by one of the Ukrainian artist.
The clockwork is a gift from Edinburgh city.
The clock will be working only at summer time and it is the biggest in the world.
The first clock in Kiev were installed in 1913 by famouse watch repairer.
