On the 9-th of July 2009 was open a new Centre of Ethnology "Mamaeva Sloboda". For the first view it looks like museum under the open air "Pirogovo". The difference is that these museum pieces were made by modern foremen by ancient drawings. It took them 8 years to build it. There are 98 pieces on the territory of the Centre: Church of the Intercession, house of potter, house of farrier, house of fortune-teller, military department, the theatre, tavern, stall, forge, rick-yard, sheepfold, windwill and waterwill.

The beacon is in the beginning of the village.
Church of the Intercession. This Church is working and you can get married or get christened in here. It is the first Cossack's Church which were built since complete destruction of Zaporozhskaya Sech.
There are about hundred icons in the Church.
All of them have analogy to icons of Hetman's time.

You can get inside as an individual viewer or in group which is always forming at the entrance.
